Immediate Past NHGOP Chairwoman, Hon. Jeanie Forrester, Endorses Eddie Edwards for Congress

July 17, 2018

"New Hampshire Republicans need to nominate a candidate that can win the general election in November. Eddie Edwards is that candidate." - Hon. Jeanie Forrester

Dover, NH – Eddie Edwards, a U.S. Navy veteran, former Police Chief, and candidate for Congress in New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District, has been endorsed by Hon. Jeanie Forrester, who is the the NHGOP’s immediate past chairwoman.

Hon. Forrester released the following statement with her endorsement:

"I'm proud to endorse Eddie Edwards in the race for New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District. I seldom lend public support to a candidate, but the race for the 1st District is too important to stand on the sidelines. Eddie has the integrity, honesty, and work ethic we need in Washington.

"Eddie Edwards is the only conservative in this race who has demonstrated a lifetime of service to our nation. He has sacrificed for our country by serving in the U.S. Navy and has served our state in law enforcement. He is unafraid of tough questions, which is evident by the many town hall meetings he has hosted across the district. He is extremely hardworking, which has been proven by the fact that he was the first candidate to have campaigned in every town and city in NH-01. With Eddie, we have a man who has an incredible life story and who is exactly the sort of individual we need in Congress at this critical time.

"New Hampshire Republicans need to nominate a candidate that can win the general election in November. Eddie Edwards is that candidate."

Hon.
