Dover, NH – Mayor Rudy Giuliani endorsed Eddie Edwards in NH-01 today at a campaign event in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
Mayor Giuliani made the following statement:
"The best thing you can do in politics is bring in new people with energy, ideas, integrity, background, and experience, and that’s exactly what Eddie has. I was immediately interested in Eddie’s campaign when I first heard about him a few months ago. Eddie has lived in New Hampshire for 30 years, has been a high school football coach, served our country ably in the United States Navy, has been a police chief, has been in charge of liquor enforcement, and has a very strong law enforcement background. To me that is always a good sign of somebody who will be a fine politician because they have that spirit of public service and taking care of people and making sure people come first.
"Eddie has those 'Live Free or Die' values of a good, strong conservative who believes in low taxes and is a supporter of the “America First” agenda. I know Eddie will be a supporter of President Trump’s when he gets to Congress. Eddie is exactly the kind of person we need to send to Washington – a conservative outsider with a voice for strong conservative principles that will unite the party and unite New Hampshire."
