Dover, NH – The Honorable Fred Doucette (R, Salem), a co-chairman of President Donald Trump’s campaign in New Hampshire during the 2016 campaign, is endorsing Eddie Edwards for Congress NH-01.
In addition to being one of President Trump’s earliest supporters in 2015, Doucette is a former Assistant Majority Leader in the New Hampshire House of Representatives serving from 2014 - 2017. He is a retired firefighter and paramedic who served as a Captain in the Salem Fire Department and was a United States Navy Corpsman.
Edwards has already secured the endorsement of several of President Trump’s top supporters in the state, including another one of his state co-chairman, New Hampshire State Representative Stephen Stepanek (R, Amherst), and his campaign's National Veterans Chairman, New Hampshire State Representative Al Baldasaro (R, Londonderry).
New Hampshire State Representative Fred Doucette (R, Salem) made the following statement:
"I know Eddie Edwards, and I am confident that he will fight for President Donald Trump’s agenda and will make a difference in protecting the values we hold most important as Republicans in the Granite State. His commitment to honesty and integrity is integral to what our men and women in uniform do every day. As military veterans, the lifelong public service that both Eddie and I pride ourselves on is exactly what we need more of in Congress. I look forward to working hard each and every day to ensure he is NH-01’s next congressman.”
