Dover, NH – Eddie Edwards, the Republican nominee for New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District, has received the endorsement of House Speaker Paul Ryan.
Speaker Ryan issued the following statement:
"Eddie Edwards has an impressive track record of leadership in New Hampshire and his experience in law enforcement would be a valuable asset to the House Republican Conference. I’m proud to be supporting him and know that he will be a voice for common-sense policies, smaller and more efficient government, and ideas that expand economic opportunity throughout the Granite State."
In response, Eddie Edwards released the following statement:
"I thank Speaker Paul Ryan for his strong endorsement of our campaign for Congress here in NH-01. He has been one of our nation’s leading advocates for tax reform, less spending, and smaller government. His kind words of support are greatly appreciated.
"I look forward to continuing my tireless efforts each and every day to ensure that we build on Speaker Paul Ryan’s successes in the next Congress. The alternative is a return to the failed Pelosi-Pappas agenda of open borders, tax hikes, and a Washington spending spree. Our nation cannot afford that nor do Granite Staters support it."
