Dover, NH – Eddie Edwards, the Republican nominee for New Hampshire's 1st Congressional District has earned the endorsement of the New Hampshire Police Association.
Timothy Mone, President of the New Hampshire Police Association, issued the following statement:
“After a lifetime of service in the U.S. Navy and in law enforcement, Eddie Edwards has the experience we need in Washington. As a result of Eddie’s leadership and hard work, he achieved the rank of Chief in two agencies. That truly is a testimony to who he is as an individual.
“Eddie Edwards’ display of integrity and ethics during his tenure reflects the values of New Hampshire law enforcement. These attributes are why the New Hampshire Police Association has decided to endorse Eddie Edwards for United States Congress in NH-01. We are proud to stand with him in this race as we know he will always stand up for us in Washington."
As President of the New Hampshire Police Association, Tim Mone has also served as a Sergeant with the New Hampshire Division of Liquor Enforcement and Licensing since 2002. He became a member of the University of New Hampshire Police Department in 2000 and from 2004-2007 was assigned to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Drug Task Force. He also currently serves in part-time capacities with the Madbury Police Department and the University of New Hampshire Police Department.
